Men’s Ministry
Our purpose in ministry is taken from the “blacksmith’s shop.” As iron makes, challenges and enables the other pieces of iron being wielded in the master smith’s hand to become far more collectively than they could ever be on their own, so is our mission and ministry. As men we seek to accomplish this purpose through small group ministry; mentoring relationships; and corporate fellowship.
Men need to become godlier men. The biblical strength of men can be realized in our pursuit of spiritual maturity. Challenge, change and accountability are hallmarks of our biblical faith as Christian men. The result can be seen in fathers, husbands and men who are spiritually healthy. Men also need men to hold them accountable and to challenge them to be better fathers and biblically healthier husbands. We also design create the opportunity to communicate through relationships that Jesus is real, approachable and trustworthy. This serves to prepare them as men to grow into discovering and accepting their unique roles as they become faithful and committed participants in the Total Family Ministry.
Women’s Missionary Union
The mission of Woman’s Missionary Union has the responsibility and purpose of helping saints become involved in mission work in the community and in the church. Its focus is on five areas which are praying for and giving to missions, doing missions, learning about missions, developing spiritually toward a mission’s lifestyle and supporting the work of the church.
