New Covenant is a church where “Winning souls and changing lives for Jesus is a Total Family Ministry.” We believe that God has led us to a ministry that seeks to meet the needs of the entire family thereby having a greater impact on the world. All of us are being afforded a precious privilege to join God as He is working in the life of the church and the community As a church, we are committed to the task of transforming lives for the glory of God.

Our biblical faith in God undergirds our church; it facilitates meeting the needs of those who need biblical answers and solutions to the problems we all face; it strengthens the spiritual fabric of the home; it serves as a catalyst to develop minds and hearts for God’s intended purpose; it can reach people for Christ.

At New Covenant you will find expository preaching; dynamic praise and worship and a friendly family of believers who strive to model Christ. You are invited to look at our ministries and perhaps God will show you something that will encourage your heart. As always, you are welcome to visit our worship services, bible studies or church events at any time. May the Lord be unto you as according to His word.

What to Expect

WELCOMING

We are praying everyday that God sends people just like you into our lives. And just as God has done with us, we seek to take people wherever they are in their walk with God.

As believers in Christ, we have the earnest desire to reach the world for Christ. All of our future days have a new meaning because we are safe and secure in the Lord.

CHRIST CENTERED

As believers we are accepted in the perfection of Christ. His blood was shed for the remission of our sin at the cross. Our sin is no longer remembered nor held against us by our heavenly Father because of Christ. Through Christ we are adopted into the family of God and that has eternal significance. Evidence that a great spiritual work of transformation has taken place in us will be found in our gratitude for the things of God’s word. The Holy Spirit is determined to reveal Christ to us in all aspects of our lives according to that very word.

SPIRITUAL

Let us all celebrate and thank Jesus for the marvelous provision of salvation that he made for us as Christians. Everything in our lives we owe to the redemptive work of Christ. In Jesus we find the perfection of everything.

CULTURALLY RELEVANT

In today’s culture, multimedia is a way of life, and so appropriate video, slides, and songs that enhance and illustrate the biblical message are used each Sunday. Our Internet based culture is also highly interactive, and so people share their stories or testimonies of faith, with questions being asked during the message to engage the members. Messages offer practical help for daily Christian living at work, in the family, and in the church.

CHILD FRIENDLY

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward (Psalm 127:3 KJV). God’s word reminds us how blessed we are to have the stewardship of family in our possession. Our heavenly Father expects us as parents to apply the scriptures in taking care of our family. We have several children’s ministries at all ages at New Covenant that will help your children grow in the Lord.

The Christian family brings unique character to the community in which we live. Ours is a trust that necessitates that we sprinkle the world with the salt of Godly family values.

UPLIFTING

We laugh, sing, and have the best of fun. Even in times of difficulty, we are knitted closer by a firm belief that God is always on our side. There is absolutely nothing that can separate the Christian family from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Our families are driven by spiritual principles that are dear to our very hearts. God will always honor our desire to please Him as a family unit.

If you are looking for a church in the West Knoxville area, we hope you will join us Sunday for Family Bible Hour @ 9:00 am and Worship Service and Covenant Kids @ 11:00 am @ 10319 Starkey Lane.
